Craftsman Door Opener Model 139.53963SRT?
The sensativity on the remotes are too high, but I can't find any infomation on changing it.
Any advise?
You need to reduce the sensitivity of the receiver inside the motor unit. This may be done by shielding the antenna or making it smaller. My Garage Door Opener has a short length of wire for the antenna. I made the opener less sensitive by coiling up the wire to make it smaller. I could just as well have folded the wire in half, or in a quarter. But if your receiver has a fixed size antenna instead of a wire, you could try wrapping aluminum foil around it as a shield.
It is better to desensitize the receiver than to reduce the radiated signal at the remote control. That way, your opener will also be less sensitive to other sources, including remote controls belonging to other people that might happen to be programmed to the same code as yours.
