Scrapbooking Supplies - Wall Pockets Keep Them Tidy by Anna Hart
Wall pockets for scrapbooking supplies could not be more perfect, as long as you have the wall space to hang them. Wall pockets for scrapbooking supplies turn your wall into a convenient storage area. They are perfect for organizing almost all scrapbooking supplies.
Plastic Wall Pockets
Clear, frosted, or colored plastic wall pockets usually come in the height and length of standard letter paper. Some are available in legal size at office supply stores.
1. Single plastic wall pockets can be attached to the wall in an artistic arrangement, if you have few scrapbooking supplies.
2. Stackable plastic wall pockets allow you to create an extensive filing system for scrapbooking supplies.
3. Some wall pockets come in frames that feature 3 or more pockets. You can have more pockets with fewer brads or screws.
4. Multi-size plastic wall pockets, sometimes called plastic wall organizers, feature two-tiered storage of scrapbooking supplies in letter-sized envelopes. Below that, four snap-on pockets provide space for smaller scrapbooking supplies.
Mesh Wall Pockets
Larger scrapbooking supplies, such as cardstock and background papers, can be stored in mesh wall pockets normally used for magazines. The mesh lets you see the contents quickly. Organize scrapbooking magazines in mesh pockets. Or collect small pieces in a large, labeled envelope and slip it into a mesh wall pocket.
Cascading Wall Pockets
This wall pocket can hang conveniently on your wall while you're working, and then fold to be stored in a closet. Magnetic Wall Pockets
If you have a metal file, refrigerator, washer, or other flat metal surface in the room where you work, you might use magnetic wall pockets for scrapbooking supplies. These wall pockets are similar to others used in offices, but have a magnetic backing, so they need not be fixed on a wall.
Desk-side Pockets

Felt wall pockets, about the size of large posters, are another good option for small scrapbooking supplies. Pens, chalks, scissors, and more can be tucked into its smaller pockets, paper, cardstock, and photos in larger pockets. These are available ready-made, but you could also make your own.
Do-it-Yourself Wall Pockets
There is a great do-it-yourself "book wall pocket" on the internet. You can turn unwanted hardback books into wall pockets for scrapbooking supplies. Any size book can be used, so these pockets can be custom made to hold all kinds of scrapbooking supplies. Libraries, flea markets, and thrift stores are good sources of used books. Some large book stores even have "give-away" bins at the door.
With a sharp knife, you carefully remove the books pages. Add a lining of a stiff cloth, with a pocket to hold your supplies, and hang with brad nails or small screws.
So Many Wall Pockets
There are so many different wall pockets for scrapbooking supplies that you will probably want to visit a large office supply store locally or online, and see the selection. One office supply store online offers 54 wall organizers! Another offers 94! It's a great way to organize your supplies.
