Help Changing Garage Keypad Code?
I have a Lift Master Professional Lift Residential Garage Model No. 1250. I have a Chamberlain Keypad, but I forgot the key #. I tried easy generic key #'s like 0000 or like 1234, but it doesn't work. So I was wondering is there a way to change it and erase the unknown key code I currently have now?

Always disconnect operator from door before programming
to avoid injury to yourself or the operator
Look for the antennae wire near the rear of the motor head, within about 2 inches of where the antennae wire disappears into the motor head there is a brightly colored button (the "SMART" button).
Press and release the "SMART" button.
Go to the keypad and press your 4 digit PIN number & "ENTER", "ENTER".
To remove old transmitter and/or keypad codes
Press and hold the SMART button until the small light goes out.
Try a transmitter to make sure the old code has been erased.
Press and release the "SMART" button on the back of the motor. Press the transmitter button twice (repeat this step for each additional transmitter or keypad).
